Spinning®: It’s all about the bike baby! Armstrong, Lemond, Indurian and YOU. Jump on and spin those pedals like never before. RIDE AT YOUR OWN PACE!  Enjoy the music, camaraderie & spandex.  All ability levels participate in this outstanding class. If you are a first timer please arrive 15min early to get fit to a bike! 1 hour class

Core Barre Fusion: Providing survival skills for the real world. Improve your overall body awareness, endurance, and strength. This 1 hour class includes work for balance, strength, improved flexibility, and an overall tune-up.

Regain/Renew/Release: Improve overall flexibility and regain mobility with simple movements and stretches while enhancing your balance. Open up your body, and improve strength. Feel the benefit of a renewed body awareness, and ease of movement in every day living.

NEW Strong & Balanced:
Total Body Circuit

Boost strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability in this efficient, low-impact circuit workout—without moving between stations. Each participant stays in their own personal workout space for a smooth, focused experience.
 
Expect low-impact, joint-friendly exercises that boost mobility, improve muscle tone, and support healthy aging. Perfect for beginners and seasoned exercisers alike- move at your own pace, with expert guidance from a certified trainer. 1 hour class

NEW Low Impact Drum and Stretch: Let your inner child come out to play with this fun workout incorporating our large exercise balls and drumsticks, which is proven to have cognitive brain benefits featuring memory and creativity. We’ll also focus on increasing joint mobility and improving your range of motion. Please wear shoes!!

NEW Low Impact Cardio and Core: A basic full-body class to increase metabolism, improve circulation and strengthen your core with standing and floor moves.

Barb Wilson
  is a gentle and powerful motivator. She knows her stuff (she has been instructing for over 30 years). This grandma has power.  Her experience as a cheer leading instructor (as in, taught the coaches) along with an ear for music makes her queuing flawless when leading her classes. Barb currently teaches our Spinning classes.

​Christie Rook
With five years in the fitness industry, Christie’s all about helping people move better, feel stronger, and stay injury-free. She’s certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and holds a degree in exercise science from Trinity University so she knows her stuff. Christie specializes in corrective exercise and smart, goal-oriented programming that focuses on proper technique to get you real results, faster. Through personalized assessments and intelligent training strategies, she helps clients of all ages from 12 to 102 with training smarter, not harder, and move through life with confidence.

She operated, and taught at BODYFIRM Total Fitness for 28 years in the Harbor Springs-Petoskey area. She was voted, "Best Fitness Teacher" in Northern Michigan twice by Northern Express, a publication based out of Traverse City.  She currently teaches our Core Barre Fusion and our class Regain, Renew, and Release. Core Fusion is a Barre based class that incorporates body balance and core movements to get you strong. The Regain, Renew, and Release class improves overall flexibility and regain mobility with simple movements and stretches while enhancing your balance. Open your body and improve strength. Feel the benefit of a renewed body awareness, and ease of movement in everyday living. Stretch, release, and relax! You deserve it!

Shelly’s an ACE-certified Group Fitness instructor with years of experience. Her “jam” is helping class-goers feel successful in their fitness goals while having FUN! Specialties include Low-Impact Cardio, Step Aerobics, Drum, Tabata/HIIT, and Strength. Join her for a class Mon/Wed/Fri at 10 AM!
